- Unfortunately for the Raiders, that goal came too early, as the Palo Duro Dons took away what looked to be a sure Randall win with a tying goal that came with just 50 seconds left in regulation and scored three minutes into overtime in a 2-1 win that ended Randall’s season.

Canyon High School Eagle Baseball

- The Canyon Eagles played a game against the Caprock Longhorns. Despite the early run, the Canyon offense took some time to get going at the plate.
“We got off to a slow start, but it was good to come back and good to be 2-0,” Eagle coach John Doan said. “It’s hard because we want to start fast, but baseball is a patient game and good things are going to happen.”

Canyon High School Lady Eagle Softball

- The Lady Eagle Softball team played the Lady Longhorns from Caprock. the season and 2-0 in district, put up a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning as Kaylee Crozier reached on an error and scored on a wild pitch and Sabrae Precure singled before scoring on a hit by Ashley Nolan with two outs.

Randall High School Lady Raider Softball

- The Lady Raiders played the Lady Demmonettes from Dumas. Randall took control of Wednesday’s game early, sending nine batters to the plate and scoring five runs in the second inning.
